I agree with that. BUT! every team has there off nights. its hard to play your best every game. thats why we have upsets.

Me and RockSolid69 will be there as well. My wife has Thursday night class. HOPEFULLY The Lady Rockets will take care of 1st round business. We have already booked the hotel room, so no matter what we will watch the Friday and Saturday games.

The 2010-2011 Lady Rocket team is a special team, most regular season wins, 27, most wins in school history, 32(so far), best winning % 32-1 and a lot of expectations. Haven't lost to a team in Kentucky all year and today tied with Manual in Cantrall's rating the state at #1. In winning the state tournament it takes skill, determination, intensity and some "luck". I've been around basketball for 40+ years, played a lot myself, both my daughters have enjoyed great success and even though this year's team has a lot of accomplishments, not exactly certain it is better than the 2003-04 and 2004-05 teams from the 13th region. My oldest daughter played on those teams, had 3 legitimage Div. 1 players, won prestigious tournament in Georgia over Insell's Shelbyville Academy, top 10 team from California and Omerod and Sacred Heart, ranked #24 nationally at one point in 04-05 season, yet did not even win a game in state tournament, lost in opening round to Lex Cath(a top 10 team nationally that year with Snowden, Novosel, Davis and company). Point is, the best or top team in the state doesn't always win the state tournament, just like the top horse doesn't always win the Kentucky Derby. Let's just stay tuned and enjoy each game, see what happens.
