I would LOVE for this to be my Blackcat's year...
But...if they stumble...
I would say NewCath vs. Owensboro Cath in the finals, with NCC winning.
Bad year for the Protestants... lol

I think if Pburg can get past Corbin and have the semi-finals at home that they'll make it to Bowling Green. But I don't think they'll have enough to beat Murry or whoever comes out of the west.
BTW what happened to Ft. Campbell? Everyone is over looking them. Anyone think they can be the darkhorse? You've got to believe that a that has won what, 2 straight state titles, has to be in the mix?

Danville in the West...hopefully Prestonsburg from the East. Nice rematch from 93.

We sunk the ship once! it would be nice to do it again for a ring this time... I've heard ppl from Danville say that the '93 team was the best they've ever had

By accomplishment that Danville team would be right in the discussion. They defeated handily the AAAA runner-up and the AAA runner-up that season. Prestonsburg just beat them that night. That's why they line them up and play them.

Gotta go with the new #1 Murray Tigers they're gonna be tough to beat FC got lucky last year and this years squad might be a little better this year with less competition in the playoffs with the exception of OC,NCC,& Pres.

And Marion may have been a hugh disappointment but they are the only team to beat Collins so far this season. But the great thing about High School football is none of that matters once the playoffs hit it's all about survive and advance. If Green Co. gets by Bardstown then they have a 2nd round matchup with Danville, which I believe will be a Barn burner. Green Co. has beat and knocked Coach Sam Harp and the Ads out of the playoffs the past 2 seasons and last year was the worse lost in the Harp era at Danville. So you know Harp and the ads will be ready for that game all guns blazing, and also all these kids feel they have something to prove after Dunn left because of the talent. I would also say NCC is favorite with some teams out East (Corbin, P Burg) on their tails, and out West it's pretty much wide open. The 2A playoffs are shaping up to be a dandy!!1NCC is the favorite IMO, then the rest of 2A is a toss-up.

I don't see any class 2A team winning a face off against Murray. Murray came within one play of defeating a scary good Fort Campbell team last year. Murray is huge - 5A size.

Yeah, but they were huge last year, too. As much talk as ppl make about Murray "almost" beating Ft. Campbell, is it not possible the Falcons looked past that game last year ?
When push came to shove, FC passed the ball effectively vs. the Tigers. It's speed that kills, not size.
