Bell County 35 Harlan County 0
tehot05 Wrote:Knox Central is Legit... Be thankful Harlan Co didnt play them, bc it would have been another L on ur alls scheldule..

As far as Knox- it is as simple as someone down there picking up the phone, dialing 16065742020 and asking for Coach Larkey, saying yes we'll play, fax the contract, and get it on. HC has apparently done their part to make it happen.

I will not allow it!!

If Harlan were to call up Highlands, Trinity, St. X, the New England Patriots.....
They would still get on here and say they could beat them.

Why must you man? Seriously, you have the mentality of about a 5 year old kid.
I wouldnt know why Knox wouldn't want to play Harlan. Knox kept the Bell score reasonable for a while and went into OT with Johnson Central.

They also played Clay 9-6. You can't go by stuff like that.

Your right. What the first game of the year?
BellCoBobcats09 Wrote:Your right. What the first game of the year?

First game or last game. Doesn't matter. It happened. People on here from Knox want to judge HC by a scrimmage, but when people bring up the Clay/Knox game everyone chimes in with it was the first game. Double standard. Also in the HC/Bell game MLB (who is actually 2nd team was out with shoulder and starting DE was out.) All TD's were scored on that side of the field. Are you saying that would not have made it more competitive.

I knew coming into this game it wouldnt be close. Regardless of who was playing we would still had won. Like I stated in the thread before the game. I wasnt talking much because it was going to be the same outcome as last year. Well it was actually worse.

Talk about all the turnovers for Harlan and blocked punt. Thats all part of the game of football. Like I also stated in another thread, KNOX has the 2nd best defense in 4A even above Boyle Co. Bell won 21-7 and should had been 28-7 if there was 10 more sec left before halftime when we was on the 8 yard line.

Yeah.
We can't judge Harlan by a scrimmage....
but Harlan can judge everyone else's team based on the scores of their JV games.
Right?

Sorry but Knox would destroy Harlan.
^ I don't think they would "destroy" them.
However, there is no way Knox drops that game.

Fumbling 7 times is not a part of the Bears Football Game. Handing the Ball to Bell in Redzone twice is not a part of their Game. It cost them two early scores, the last with 10 minutes remaining in the second qtr. The Bears lost it again and blew two chances to score in the first half as well. Bell was held several times I might add. Score 14-0 with 1 minute remaining in the Third qtr., the score was still 14-0. Then Bell scored on a long one with 1 min remaining 3rd qtr. After fumbling again with 10 minutes remaining in the 4th qtr, Bell busts another. Bears fumble the Kickoff, in the redzone again, Bell again scores. Three touchdowns in six minutes? Making it 35-0 Take nothing from Bell, they are great, but certainly, just by not fumbling, the Bears would have this game way closer. The Bears had 170 yards rushing, the same amount of first downs and mishandled/fumbled 7 times. If they hold on to it, would have had much more yardage?. And a close game. Fact! Bell will contend for the title and are the best in the mtns, but dont bash the Bears as a little to nothing competition. Anyone who knows football, knows it very well could have been a very close game. And fumbling 7 times will impact any teams chances. On to Mercer and hope Bell wins it all. Knox needs to agree to play, HC has entertained twice at knox's grid scrimmages over the past three years and brought a large crowd at the gate as well. Knox needs to play the Bears in a real games, not a all get to play scrimmage. Corbin should be on the Bears schedule as well.

Stop with the excuses. Turnovers are apart of the game and the cubs couldn't hold on to the football.
Cubs got destroyed by Bell and would too by Knox.
Bell and Harlan aren't a rivalry and never will be. Harlan will never be able match that level of football. Sorry.
Good day sir.

Stop being modest Zaga lol
NO EXCUSES, Bell County Beat the Bears fair and square and straight up! They are the best in the mtns. and Bell will contend for the title. I give NO excuses, only the facts of how this could've been a close one, but it wasn't. The Bears bumbled their chances and Bell, late, made hast and busted it out. I hope Bell wins it all. The Black Bears are not a little to nothing competition. GO BLACK BEARS!!!!
BB just leave them alone, I've already made the comment of how PATHETIC it is to use another team to make them feel better that the Black Bears destroyed PCC! Their feelings are hurt because they beat Breathitt and thought they would go 10-0. Then their ship hit the rocks :please:and instead of getting a bucket and trying to help they jumped on a raft and hopped on the Bell County Bandwagon.

I believe I will leave the scheduling to Coach Larkey, I hear rumors of Belfry and LCA!!!
Leave PCC out of it. This is a Harlan/Bell thread and your posting off topic.
Can a Mod please enforce a penalty on these rule breakers?

He has to say stuff about the PCC game to make that thumpin they took look good.

Then why don't Knox Central schedule Harlan Co? Give them a chance to prove it.

Well if it was reversed that John Dudley and Davenport was out and HC had Smith and Whitehead it would have been 35-0 HC. I don't care what you say, that is the truth and Bell Knows it.

Yeahboy. After this embarrassment I doubt Harlan will ever schdule a legitimate foe again.

Yes, I am full of wisdom and knowledge.

Lol!!!!!
That is hilarious! This should be up for dumbest post of the year.
I will say this, Bell had better hope to keep Davenport healthy or they may have trouble making it past Knox and wont make it past Boyle. With everyone healthy, Bell will contend for it. And Aslan....you aint all there. GO BLACK BEARS!!!!

No. You should judge HC by one and only thing. That is what they did to your team. Now, Bell can judge them anyway they want to. I never once said anything about JV. You guys don't want to try to read posts that make sense. You just want to razz anyone from HC who gets on here. That's your perogative, but you look like a fool hanging on to Bell's coattails.

We would still beat Knox with Collett and Polly. Even Hilton and Mills running the ball.

Bell Co's Defense will win games alone this year.

No, I'm completely honest and not biased.

Stop bringing Perry into the thread, I will inform a mod and you will receive a suspension!
And were just trying to enforce the truth, that a few Harlan Co fans refuse to acknowledge. Stop making excuses. Fumbles are apart of the game. Ya ever think that the reason they were so many fumbles was due to the great defense they was facing. Fumbles or not, Harlan gets shutout.
