I'm not as confident in a blowout as some, but I do think Harlan will win. I looked up common opponents. Pineville makes you think a Harlan blowout. Allen Central makes you think a close game. In other words, as usual, I have no idea.
Didn't see Harlan since the Pineville game. Are they healthy?

Was Burchett number 9? He was a good running back. I watched Paintsville earlier in the year and I remember number 11, 9, and 21 as being their best players. Did he quit or what? I also heard that they have moved Caldwell to running back. What is your alls feelings about that? I believe that is going to hurt them throwing the ball.

You called out myself and others in a thread not even concerning paintsville. In the thread for Pike Central you had to bring up that fans wanted Chapman instead of Kinner. The PHS admin giving him the coaching position over other people isnt Jason's fault and I have stated in the past and present that politics are why things are the way that they are currently. If they wanted him as the coach, why jump the gun and do it when he had only one years experience as an assistant? If he was their plan from the beginning to take over the program then they should have been more patient and let him learn more before throwing him into that position. When myself and others posted anything about Chapman it was to prove that more qualified coaches wanted the paintsville job. Im sitting here on my lunch break and I am amazed that when the team record is 3 and 7 that you would get on here and bash a coach from another program to defend Mr. Kinner. Im stating facts and it makes me sick when talent isn't used properly and the kids get blamed by yourself and the coaching staff. Like this post and a few by another poster are consummate examples of how the kids are getting blamed for Jason's coaching problems. Who was to blame last season when their was talent in the program? Last year, won only 4 games with Nehemiah Doderer, Dyllon Brown, Dustin Caldwell, Josh Hall, and Mark Nordin as the skill position players. Anyone with decent football sense could have won more ball games with those boys and he couldn't even go for .500 with them. At JC or any other school Nehemiah would have been an all state selection and several coaches in the area will agree. A coach with more knowledge and experience would have had better results. Im not sure if it was because of his youth or what, but he tried to run the spread with a set of lineman that wasn't athletic enough to run it, and played a qb that definitely wasn't suited to run the spread. He should have had Caldwell playing QB instead of WR. YOU CAN'T RUN THE SPREAD OPTION OFFENSE IF YOU DON'T HAVE ATHLETIC LINEMAN! If you dont know that then you dont need to be coaching football. This isn't a nintendo game this is real life. In a power style offense and playing the right kid at qb last year would have been a lot better of a season. You dont have the speed at paintsville high school that urban meyer has had florida and to attempt to run his style with kids not suited for it is stupid. At a small school where you don't have the numbers that other local schools have you chose what style is best for them not what system your favorite college football coach runs. The excuses of no talent and all of this non-sense that has went on behind the scenes that I wont post to everyone really has irked me. I just state the truth of the matter and in all of my years of being involved with the paintsville school system this has been a disgrace to the great people that in the past ran things the appropriate way instead of doing it for whats best for prominent families in town. Hiring teachers without teaching degrees and appointing jobs to people that aren't certified is going to hurt more then athletics, but it will hurt our kids education in the process as well.

Kinner was a three year assistant first off.
Secondly all I am trying to prove is that there is alot wrong with the program, not just the coach.

I can only remember him working for one year under Jim Tom. Don't remember him helping bill mike or jim tom in his first year. I dont claim to be perfect and I wont dispute what your saying cause you may be right.Ive noticed what proof that you demonstrated when you predicted the winner of the game. I base things on what I've seen with my own eyes and the talent excuse can't be used for last season. To say Betsy Layne and Magoffin had more talent THIS season is funny as well. Got some good questions for you. What was the problem when they only won four games last year? Can you say that Matthew Daniels was a more talented quarterback than Dustin Caldwell? Better question, was Dyllon Brown a better qb then Caldwell? Was the offensive lineman on that team quick and athletic? Can you say that team was suited to run a spread offense? Who decided who was the best qb on the team? This wasnt supposed to be his rebuilding year and he told people all over town that he had the talent to win 8 ball games, so what happened to that talent that yourself and others are blaming for the current losses? Im finished posting about whats going on over there. Just keep wearing your blue tinted shades and keep thinking that the kids are the problem. GROWN MEN BLAMING KIDS MAKES ME SICK. when those same kids were beating these teams when they were younger. If the talent wasn't there I would understand, but its there to atleast have a team have a .500 record and not lose to Magoffin and Betsy Layne. I've never seen another COACHING STAFF PUBLICLY blame their kids for their problems like paintsville has. Everyone knows that staff gets on here and blames the kids I can name which ones are the staff and Im not the only one. This is my last post on here because Im tired of people disputing the facts and trying to make me look ignorant for telling the truth. Kinner was handed the teaching job at paintsville, when he only had a business management degree (he was the manager at a restaurant at one point), and was handed the football job at the expense of running off a good man. He's not at fault for getting either job, but the job he has done while coaching paintsville is his fault. END OF STORY
