Charles Barkley Rips LeBron

Stardust Wrote:Lol, as I have already said, I guess Michael Jordan is the King who started the dancing on the court with what he did in Cleveland in the Playoffs many years ago. I guess Lebron is just following in MJ's footsteps.......

I dont really care who started it, it would have been disrespectful if I saw MJ do it as well. As a matter of fact his induction speech to the hall of fame was a bit childish too. And just so we're clear he is not following MJ's footsteps, Jordan doesnt approve of Lebrons decision to go to Miami either, and Jordan said himself Kobe is better.

Stardust Wrote:Hunh? Are you talking about Lebron? What other examples of poor sportsmanship do you have on Lebron?

An example of poor sportsmanship by LeBron was not shaking hands with the Orlando Magic when they knocked the Cavs out of the playoffs a couple seasons ago.

Wouldn't surprise me. Mannings got quite a few years left.

zaga_fan Wrote:That decision had nothing to do with him being a man....
If anything it made him less of a man in my eyes.

Exlain that for me? I guess you want somebody else to break the news for you? I respect lebron for telling the worl about his deceison not making somebody else do it.

catwoman Wrote:Lebron james quit on the cavs and the fans of cleveland. They were down 9 points with a minute and a half and he walked the ball up the floor and drippled around for about 30 seconds and kicked it out of bounds. In all my 50 years I never saw a super star of his staus quit. I think he is physically the greatest tio ever play but cant stick that jumper when you have to have it. In game 5 he had one basket in the third quarter. He quit. I dont care if you get 40 points 30 rebounds and 15 assists but quit the last 5 minutes and led your team to defeat your not a winner. the cavs beat everybody in the leauge. they were good enough to win a title but lebron for some strange reason decided he didnt want to win. I always stood up for the man until game 5 against the celtics. Then he goes to miami and gets up on the stage and him and wade and the other guy dance around like the village people. If lebron was a rock singer his favorite song would be,,I WISH I WAS YOU SO I COULD MAKE LOVE TO ME.Never saw a player wanting so much glory. even in games he sat out he caused such a ruckus on the bench acting like a retard the camera stayed on him. I know one thing. i wish D butler from west virginia had not went to miami and hope he does well but I hate the heat and could care less who wins the title as long as it is not the heat. 3 superstars is not enough to walk thru the NBA. I have seen our dream team, one in particulat get beat 31 by argentina. Just because that West guy for the cavs was sleeping with his mom lebron turned into a jerk.He is worth millions so if he blows out his acl I dont want to hear anybody cry for him . His big fat *** will get too heavy and he will end up hurt. watch and see

Ill agree with you that he quit! But in case you hadnt noticed the coach was telling him so! And besides cleveland was screwed anyways

IMO, all the Lebron haters are just jealous he's in Miami smoking cohibas and getting ready to run over every current NBA team in the league.. That's what the whole deal is over.. Not because of him announcing it on a freakin' 1 hour special.. Barkley, the HOFer's, and the rest just need to quit bashing him.. Karl Malone said it himself, he went to LA for a reason. If people on here would quit being so biast and naive, everything would be A-Ok. If they for someone reason don't win the title this year, look for it to be over for the NBA in the following years to come -for sure.

That is just classic Barkley right there, all there is to it. He said what was on his mind, and what he thought about the whole situation, and could care less what anyone thinks about it. He has a lot of fans and a lot of haters because he has that mentality, and I am a huge fan of it.

I can agree with this. I love Barkley too. I don't agree with his opinion, but in many ways it's probably not even his opinion. Charles loves to stir the pot (Like others of us like to do :biggrinSmile and just see what comes of it. I really don't think Charles cares one way or another. Didn't big Charles go running to Houston to play with Akeem & Drexler (two of the NBA's greatest 50) in order to win a title? Charles being Charles is all about having an opinion and not caring what that opinion is as long as it is about something.....

Anyone that actually watched the Lebron one hour special should go ahead and just punch themselves in the face, right now.

Im many things but a liar isnt one of them my friend. I hate Lebron and every move he makes. Im not necessariyl mad about the special but i do think it shows how overly cocky he is and I do not like it.

Karl Malone also said at the HOF induction that the last time he checked the lakers were still the champs and Lebron hasn't won anything yet

Exactly and it amazes me how everyone guarantees Lebron a title every year and he still cant win one. For the last 2 years theville has guaranteed 100% a title, and now everyone thinks they are going to win this year. I just cant get over how naive Lebron fans are. And to think u guys were calling the Lebron haters naive when clearly we been right so far.

EXACTLY! He cannot win one. Nor could Kobe win one. Lebron needs exactly what Kobe has had to get his 5 titles, another superstar. Lebron got to the finals without another star, which is more than what Kobe was able to do. Now they are on equal playing field, so if Lebron cannot help lead his team to a title, then there is no argument about who is best between Lebron and Kobe.

Your 100% right no man can do it alone. I agree 100% to the death on that. Kobe is the best regardless though. It still blows me away everyone assumes the victory from these guys, if one goes down with an injury and they lose im going to laugh, if they stay healthy and lose ill laugh until everyone on this website hates me. No offense, but i still dont see these guys winning the championship this year. The year after, perhaps. This coming year, no way.
