PBurg still hasn't fixed their tackling problem, and the only player out there that will lay you out is Chatlin Jarrell. However, I hear we have had a good week at practice and cannot wait to see how we perform against our biggest rival and also, without our best player in #8 Bryson Williams.
Who is Chatlin Jarrell. Never heard of him. Is he a transfer. The best defensive players they have are the Griffith twins. You block those 2 guys in the middle and you run all day.
From the games I've attended last year and this year it appears the coaches tells the qb exactly who to throw the ball to. Its obvious because he eyes the receiver the entire route and if he is covered thats when all heck breaks loose. Williams was the coaches pick last year and now Anderson is the coaches pick this year.
Side note: Get well soon BW. Hate to hear of the injury.

The Griffith's will come to play tonight, just watch at how Coach James utilizes their skills on D. It will be very effective.

I'll pay close attention tonight because I want to see who this beast #33 is. Only freshman I heard of was Frasure. You have intrigued my curiosity. Looks like I'll exit at 119 instead of going to Jenkins.

chat is a good kid and plays hard. had 9 tackels from the saftey spot last week, pretty damn good for a 110 pound freshmen. and the fact that hes jarredds cousin has nothing to do with any thing.also hes not a beast just yet, but just give him a little time in the weight room. then we can talk beast!

Guess I need to make my prediction since I'm going to the game.
Cats 34 / Pirates 32
The BEAST has 15 tackles, and a Pick 6 to win the game at the buzzer!!! GO CATS....

I don't believe Anderson is the only one running routes. Williams is the best slot in the state i have seen and one of the best i have coached against and teams respect that by putting 2 to 3 players on him. When jarrell looks down field to Williams he is covered by multiple defenders leaving Anderson and the other receivers open.
Just a curious question do you think there is jealousy between jarrell Williams and Anderson. Because Williams gets all the college exposure and media?

lunaticfringe Wrote:The fact that Belfry is one of the schools that highlands has not been able to kick around is why they post so much smack. They know they don't have to play Belfry, so they can hang there hats on the fact there is no payback coming. Truth is anytime they have played eachother it has went to the wire or Belfry has beat them..Northern Ky football is not what it once was. So with there recruits and week area, they think there kings of Ky football. We all know who that is, Trinity and St. X. They beat Highlands like a drum
when they try to step up. Then you don't hear anything from them until they beat some double A school by 70. Then there great again.
Oh Highlands would kick around Belfry. The all-time series is 3-2 in the favor of Highlands. NKY football not what it once was? As Stardust would say to someone with an opposing opinion, "This is the dumbest post in the history of BGR and you have lost all credibility here!" It was just a couple of years ago that Highlands finished #2 in the country! That's right, #2!!
I don't think anyone can question our schedule. Our district sucks, and we can't help that. But we aren't afraid to take on Trinity, we aren't afraid to take on a big Ohio powerhouse every year, and we have to beat the best of the best in 4A to win the title.
I'm not even trying to troll on this thread. Everything I am saying is fact. Belfry fans are too blind and too obnoxious to see that though. BTW - if Highlands, or Louisville Central were to play you all, Belfry would lose by the score of 56-7 with a running clock.
