I like these rankings based on week 1, the biggest problem i have with wymt rankings is that they only go off how a team is ranked in their class or how well there beating other 1A or 2A teams. Truth be told if it was truly ranked from top to bottom you would rarely see a 1A or 2A team in there unless its Pburg or Hazard, etc.
Until somebody knocks them off im taking bell everytime, still the best team in the mountains, but i do beieve JC isnt far behind this year.

So with many of the top 10 teams getting beat what will the new list look like

I really think Lawrence County & Shelby Valley have quite the argument to be in the next top 10.
Mine would look like this:
1. Bell County
2. Johnson Central
3. Pulaski County
4. Prestonsburg
5. Somerset
6. Lawrence County
7. Letcher Co. Central
8. Knox Central
9. Sheldon Clark
10. Shelby Valley
I do think that you could take 3-10 and shake it up and still come out with a respectable ranking.

I really don't think Lawrence County should be given respect unless they take care of Valley and East Ridge and then go to Inez and take care of the Cardinals...then and ONLY then should LC get a look into the Top 10.

The Sheldon Clark game is a big game for LC this year..I think IF and I mean IF LC can come into Inez and beat the Cardinals should they get a mention into the Mountain Top 10. I think this will be the game of the week in Week 5 and will be a classic no matter which team comes out on top. Much respect to both programs.
