I really think Tim Parks would be a great hire for them his Been under one of the best coaches in the 14 region and that is a great plus and like 64 said he would give 115% and the players would love him lest I think they would anyway....

Knox has a very nice team, led Knott Co. Most of game Thursday night at Hazard before Camron Justice completely took over the game. Whoever they hire is stepping into a very good situation.

I was told the assistant coaches would run summer ball, and they hoped to hire a coach during the dead period, but they are in no rush, if they had not found what they are looking for it may be longer.

Tim Parks is Al Hollands right hand man @ hazard after whitaker left. One of the best up in coming assistant coaches in the state. 64SUR eriously: Tim has turned down probably 5 head coaching positions in the last few years. Waiting on the right opportunity to coach in the 13th Region. :truestory:

Word is Coach Parks has a whole bunch of people over in Clay Co. scared to death he's gonna get the Knox job. They know this kid can coach, and they all know Knox will be loaded next season.

Knox sure got it right a few years ago when they hired Harlan county boy Scott Russell for football, maybe they will wise up and get it right for their basketball before the end of the summer. They have a lot of talent down there it seems like every year for all 3 sports, but the right coach is hard to come by. Steve Wright would be a miracle hire for them IMO, the guy from Corbin that was Tony P's assistant for years that coaches the girls team now I believe would be someone to give a call.

Tim Parks is just what Knox needs, he is a good coach and has the ability to bring people together. The kids will really like him, ask Al Hollan at Hazard and he will tell you how valuable he has been to the Hazard program. Tim has a good job and is not asking for a teaching job so this shows he is a team player.
