As a long time Befry Pirate fan, I am utterly disgusted to see our best players spending most of their time on the sidelines. I'm talking about a boy who started on the defensive line for half of his sophomore year, started his junior year, and now spends most of his time on the sidelines. I paid close attention to the game last night, and you never saw him plowed down to the turf, that is, when he got to play. If you want some penetration up the middle, you need this 6'3" 320 pounder doing the job! Enough said!:redboxer:

Just in general and not to a specific player, but the best players play at Belfry. Players who practice the best are going to play and against teams that spread the field as much as the ones Belfry plays, some players do no fit into the defensive schemes as much as others!!! Against teams that line up and primarily run the ball, then some players will be back in the rotation.

You have 4 posts that all say the same thing. There goes your credibility....
As for the game, Belfry came out and did what they had to do. This is an improving team, getting better by each week. Josh Robinson's really doing a good job at the Running back spot, and Jeffree Pruitt's getting better by the game too. By the time district play comes around, this time could be very dangerous.

If I just seen names of the team in this game, I never would have thought it would have been this bad. But, good win Belfry. Keep it up!

I agree. Pike Central won't roll over Belfry to easy. Will be a very good game to watch.
