PC_You_Know Wrote:And in come the haters! The parents aren't on top? The coaches aren't on top? Man I went to Shelby Valley, I played sports at Shelby Valley, I was once a president of the blue crew at Shelby Valley, we are on top!

There is no being rude to it, this one is for Pike county! We're #1!

You'd probably be surprised to see how few Valley haters there really are out there. Now haters of just one single obnoxious and over bearing SV fan? I would say there are hundreds of them.

By the way Congrats to Shelby Valley. Special shout out to my buddies Robert and Greg. See all that hard work for all these has finally paid off. Great job guys.

Question, Shelby valley won all their games at Rupp by double digits, who was the last team to accomplish that? That's a pretty good stat.
#39

I have top scorers from kentucky.com.
For Shelby Valley-Justice had 17 points,Taylor Newsome 17 and Varney 13.
For Ballard-Chiles had 23 points,Jones 17 and Means 15.
Shelby Valley made 21 of 23 free throws.
.Shelby Valley was ahead 36-32 at half and Ballard cut a 16 point lead down to 4 in second half around end of third quarter I believe before Valley pushed it back out and won by double figures.
.I hope we can get rest of linescore.
..Congradulations again on an outstanding season.

Looked at it backwards..my bad man. I thought it said 61-55. Well then it's been a few years since this has happened, that's something to be proud of.

one more note, betsy layne held SV closer than anyone in the state tourney
just another fun fact!!!!

Celebrate boys, what a feeling!

Gosh Red just give it a break. This is about a very talented bunch of boys. Keep the focus on them.

Congrats Valley! No one really expected this to actually happen i dont think. All the talk of other teams being to athletic or fast but it doesnt matter. Shelby Valley plays "together" as a team and know what each other does on the court better than anyone else in the state and that is why they won it all.

And i think all of the talk that EJ cant perform against competition that Sewell has played all year should end now. Justice was unbelievable in every game just give Mr. Basketball to this young man he deserves it. Congrats to all of the Valley seniors what a way to go out!
#60
Now, children, play nice LOL! Congrats Valley on a great win! And congrats to Elisha Justice for being named most valuable player! Great job Wildcats!
