I think he got kicked off. I heard he had a bad attitude or something. I don't see how though. He never had a bad attitude last year. He was a great D-end.

To poco: I was at the game myself. To blame the coaches is irrelevant on your part. The coaches are very dedicated to coaching the young football players. One problem is they are young players. They practice everyday after school through the week. They continuously watch game film of the up coming teams. My heart goes out to the players and coaching staff. Because they have work very very hard and it has not payed off yet. However, they are getting better each time they play. Eventually powell will be the team to be reckoned with in the end. All the true fans of powell county need to stand behind the players and coaches. Instead of tearing down those who are doing their very best. Meaning the coaches and players. As i watched and listened during the game powell county fans were very quite until they thought the team had a chance to win. So fans lets get it together and cheer for our team. A fan should be loyal to the team.

Some of the players are not doing their best on the team! A coach can not go out and make the play for the player. There are a lot of in experienced players on the team. So help build the players up. So they will improve on their performance

The Dawg Wrote:I would like to give you some advise on Coach Burchett, He is one of the best coaches in the State of Kentucky! Look at where he has been an how well his teams has led the state in rushing, Lawrence CO, and Johnson Central.
He is also a Great person! I do no know what he was left with this year from last years team as in experience but I will tell you if he has the talent he will win. He has taken ball players whom do did not have a lot of talent, but put forth a effort and became very good players. It is a two way street, the kids have to want to improve and put for the effort! This is not just in football season but in the more important conditioning season in the weight room. Do not work against him and put that effort to help him and he will make you a winner!
i agree with you...srry for putting down coach burchette everyone....i meant nothing by it

Offense scored touchdowns on 4 of 5 possessions. They were stopped on downs 1 time inside Casey's 5 yard line. Need help on defense and special teams.

Which was against Casey County. Powell's offense didn't do nothing against Lewis. Which is more than likely due to lack of varsity experience. They lost most of the starters from last year's team to either graduation, transfer, or quitting. Powell has almost all new guys starting except for a few. Its a lot different going from JV to varsity.
