According to Larry Vaught--

John Wall said today that the NBA rumor was false and he "wants to play college ball (even if eligible for the NBA draft) for at least one season." Wall went on to say that Calipari "knows how to coach players to the next level" and that "UK has a great shot at getting me even though my recruitment is still open".

I read that Wall doesnt even know where the rumors about him going to the NBA came from. I find it funny how things can snowball.

I don't believe that it was ever rumored that Wall would skip college and enter the draft. A media member did some searching and found out that he would be eligible for the 2009 NBA Draft.

that would cool. Would love to see him at least one year if it helps us get some better prospects the following year.

He needs to go to Kentucky and try it a year like OJ Mayo. Kentucky will be real good next year and he should try to make them better and look for a shot at the NCAA title.
