I was in attendance as well. Very close to the action, here is my take on both the Case and Francis events.

Case did do a handstand-ish thing. It was a rock-back jump up thing, I'm sure if you've seen it done you understand how hard it is to describe. I see this as inappropriate on the court, however not worth a T. I've watched this kid play for years and he does it quite often and hasn't been called for it before. So I'm sure he didn't mean anything by it and wasn't expecting a T or it.

With the Francis issue, I'm not sure if it was on purpose or not. Yes, BL's big guy did simply fall, their feet were tangled up. However from where I was sitting the forearm to the back of the head did look intentional. SO, I guess it can be taken either way. But I can say something should have been called, it was violent. I applaud Francis for keeping his cool and playing smart when he came back into the game. Not sure if I could have done the same.

Oh my god......BL will be better after the class of '08 is gone, please believe you are wrong. The only person that can actually get the ball down the floor is CASE the senior, the other point guard that BL subs in and out gets called for walking at least 5 times per game (FRESHMAN), he's a point guard he most learn how to tribble.......KEATHLEY I agree useless, nothing but attitude.....Lafferty at least he tries to bring the ball down the court and he will play defense .... and NEWMAN he was out for 16 games, of course he's not going to be as good as he could have been, but give him time he will improve....he's been back 2 games, he's out of shape and a little rusty.....the kid did great last year and thats why poeple were building him up...if had played the whole season he would have been unstoppable........

I agreee nice post. The 3rd quarter was the closest the bobcats got, and case was on the bench. The younger players were better in my opinion. Case couldnt do anything with Hunley and he got frustrated.

I don't think that was the point. Although I don't think he is much older than any of the kids he graduated 8th grade with. They all played Little League, and grew up playing AAU ball together in the same age group. Anyways, he's 100% eligible to play basketball, so he's just as much a freshman as any other freshmans in the Region, regardless of how old he is.

Yes Maldonado was heldback...But I've known him all my life and he is 15yrs. old and will be 18 when he graduates...He was on pace to graduate at 17, so he was held back...He is in the right grade...His birthday is Sept 22, 1992..So dont post false info, just because your jealous...Case is just an average player, he will not get a scholarship because he's not that good and he has a bad attitude...By the time Maldonado is done, i bet he will play college ball...He's already as good as Case or better right now and he has 3yrs. left after this one

No jealousy here, Newman has done nothing, so he is way overrated. How many games has BL won since he's been back? NONE!, thought so...Heck he's 6'7 or so, how hard is it to get rebounds, block shots, and make it from 5ft. in..Lafferty hasn't done anything in his whole HS career..If Tibbs is that good tell him to quit holding back because no one else sees it..Practice means nothing, anybody can be a practice player..Adkins cant dribble, but could be a decent player time he graduates...The Howell kid might see playing time by his senior year:popcorn:...I think your one of the boys from BL that is just jealous because Martin and Maldonado are getting to play...Coach Hall is playing the players that can play, just because there parents are known or liked, dont hold it against the child...The ones that arent getting to play like you think they should, They cant play dead in a western...

If you say that adkins can handle the ball then you have NO idea who or what you are talking about because he is an inside player and that only i would say one of the best inside players as a freshman. As for maldonado, he can handle the ball and i would have to say that he has turned the ball over way less times than the starting point guards have, and the martin kid, he dose need to get alot stronger but with a good work effort and hes keeps a good level headed kid, i think that they can win a regional title by the time their seniors. For the cocky reply,for these boys, that rediculous these boys all have good heads on their shoulders, and they all know the game of ball, if you think any different look at how these boys have done state wise and hopefully that will tell you. I think that once coach hall gets settled in he will be fine ha has had alot of contraversy this year.
