They ran into a buzzsaw early in the season. Someone mentioned that LC QB is out. He is not definitely NOT, he is healing and resting. He starts and played safety and WR. Caught a TD and made some tackles last weekend. Just wanted to show a different scheme. Give me small Lex Cath team with their speed and athleticism.
Big linemen in HS don't always equate to success. A team can win with an undersized group up front. offensively, need to shield the DL and not try to move them. Defensively, have to be quick off the snap and penetrate the gaps. Current LC coach has done a good of modifying his system to strengths of the roster.

With all respect to Bell County, Catholic has played an excellent schedule that has allowed them to develop as the season has developed.

Bell will be hard to beat on Log Mountain! We got a great team this year. Defense is definitely better. Offense has improved as the year has went. I know they have a great team and a bunch of players, but I look for L. Cath to have a sad bus ride home.

Final thoughts and prediction

Lexington Catholic has shown incredible resilience this year starting 0-6 against six teams that are still alive in the playoffs to a current six game winning streak. Their offense is well-balanced and the defense has been solid, making timely stops when needed like a goal line stand against Scott County in OT. On the other hand, Bell County is a tough, gritty team that is well-coached and has the home field advantage. Catholic will have to match their physicality when the Bobcats are on offense. Bell County's defense is also tough but that's where I think they may struggle to contain LC for four quarters. I expect LC to have a major advantage in the kicking game with a reliable FG kicker, a return team that has 3 touchdowns on the year and especially if Bell County gives LC a short field because of their kickoff unit.

Lexington Catholic - 38
Bell County - 32

LOL, sad bus ride home huh? Does Bell Co have any basketball players on the football team? If so, come Monday they’ll be practicing with the rest of the basketball team. Lol good luck to both.

They aren't an elite private school, you'll have to forgive him.
I don't come from an elite private school. I come from a 3a school that don't recruit and do their best to make a team every year!!
I said that because, the concessions are trash, wrinkly azz soggy hotdogs that was pemade the day before. No nachos, pizza, drinks hot as the desert..  Bleachers are run down in the dirt, that you feel like your going to fall thru as soon as you step down on them. The stands wasn't even full!! Being a home playoff game, you'd expect a better turn out tbh!! To me it seems like alit of fans have abandoned this team and don't show up for any game

The attendance is one of the best in the mountains when they play competition and sure will be tonight. 90 percent of the county did not think LC was competitive enough to go and watch, but rather sit at home and watch the livestream. And boy were they right. As for the facilities, I am so sorry you feel that way. It’s a real shame. The next time you have the privilege of coming down to Log mountain and getting your Ass whipped, I will personally make sure you and your needs are met accordingly.

For any visitors coming to bell county, the visitors stands have their own concessions and bathrooms. They are actually nicer than the home stands. This is the first year the opposing teams go to the old locker room, since we had to close it from the last time Lawrence County came to bell and acted like people from lawrence county do.
