If they were lined up offsides then it should have been blown dead but if they jumped offside it is a free play the block kick is a live ball

Incorrect. In NFHS, when a defensive player lines up offsides the play is generally blown dead at the snap. There is no free play for a neutral zone infraction in high school. Offsides is a dead ball foul, regardless if they jump, or line up offsides, it is treated the same.
