Evidently, they've only given up 65 yards rushing on the year and 5 yards passing on the year (8 total games). I'm a firm believer that defense wins championships, and it appears that the toughest defense in Class A is residing in Williamsburg.
That great Williamsburg D is giving up roughly 140 yards per game EACH to rushing and passing. Against the really good comp theyâve played, giving up almost 300 per game rushing alone.
Pikeville is giving up roughly 136 yards rushing per game (and played a slate of run heavy teams) and roughly 75 yards passing per game

The Williamsburg D is NOT as good as you think based on reading stats like that. Lol. You can go to their schedule and results on KHSAA and click on their opponent, then stats and see what the opponent reports for offense and tell their D is nowhere near that. Watch film, it will tell you a lot more than fluffed up statsKHSAA shows that they reported stats for all games or am I hallucinating? Who should report stats for them? Pikeville? I picked Pikeville to win it all, but some of you have turned into birdbrain55 from out west.

Williamsburg can shut Jellico out but would give up 100 to Pikeville if not for the first half running clock.

They did not report yards allowed rushing and passing, therefore the fact that they âlead the stateâ with only 5 yards given up is just a TAD misleading when other teams actually report their yards allowed properly and donât look as strong to birdbrains like you and the other poster I replied to. Lol

I would Enjoy a Campbellsville vs Williamsburg playoff game (as long as Malachi is healthy) Both teams can light up the score board.

Shame on them for trying to deceive you. Did I say they have a stronger defense? I've really been out of the loop. lol. The birdbrain comment was a reference to arrogance.
