Johnson Central 50 Ashland 14 - Region 4 Championship

Tomcat Pride Wrote:How can you show up in a regional championship game, against your rival and get the ball rammed down your throat play after play and not show some balls? I’m very disappointed in the Tomcat effort last night. I’m glad this series is over! Congrats on the victory JC. You are officially our daddy! Good luck the rest of the way.

Probably because the 'cats are not in the same league. That's the grand illusion you get by running up the core on inferior teams.

Kittens need to keep Eagles on their schedule. This will help both teams come playoff time. Would benefit Ashland more than a running clock win.

If Tomcats had been as emotional and confrontational toward JC as the two Tomcats were toward each other on their sideline it might have been a closer game. Thought the one player was going to go after Coach Love at one point. And he must not have like the other kid's mom based on what he was calling him.

Unfortunately, this is what seems to happen at Ashland every year. Talk all kinds of crap before playing a strong opponent, then when they get beat, turn on each other. It's sad. They truly have the ability to play with anybody but the team infighting hurts them more than anything.
