I hope they are too, I heard they were making a master list of boys to call and try to get them out for football. We've got kids that have put in too much effort this summer to get past up by people just coming out a week before the scrimmage.

A lot of programs around the state are battling low numbers. However, the way the KHSAA regulates eligibility, the days of coming out the week before school and playing are over....if you're following the rules.

Every player is supposed to have so many days in helmets, so many days in helmet and shoulder pads, then so many days in full gear contact before playing in their first game. That criteria makes it tough when kids come out late.

Are you serious??!? Why?!? We've got one of the best backs in 1A, I don't understand this move if it's true. Is it to get the ball to the TE more?
