You are VERRRRRRYYY correct, and oh how does time change things. Some of Mayfields' very own were calling him the devil, now refer to him as football jesus!
Time has a way of changing things, and given community support and talent in the program, things do come back around

Now that you catch what I am talking about, I will take it a step further. There is a certain basketball school that employed Rogers for I think 5 years. He managed to beat that coach with all of those titles 2 of 5 times while at that nonfootball school. Something to think about. By the way the talent level at the school with all the titles sure picked up after he left the basketball school.

I know Rogers came highly recommended and arrived after a wide search. But sheesh, Tilghman could not stop the penalties and unforced errors. I could not tell a spits worth of difference between Rogers and the previous realm in that department. Possibly there was a bit more coaching decorum and sideline civility. Face it - PT has become an average program and rarely beats anyone they are not supposed to beat. There are those who will say Wyatt's success came not from great coaching, but from an extraordinary run of athletes and talent. Barber has never been a head coach and Tilghman is a fishbowl so we shall see how this journey goes.

I was just at the Mustangs indoor facility Wednesday. They have more PT players working out their than PT has at home. They were wearing their PT garb as well. Could be a mass defection.

Are you referring to the Sports Plex across the road? If so that is not the Mustangs facility, it is used by several schools
