I totally agree but what tells you that Goodin would do so well against the UK's and Duke's? What big game have you seen him play in against great competition that would tell you he would do any better than Beverly or Justice!! I hear what your saying but i dont always drink the kool aid!! Just because a kid is a good athlete doesn't transition over to college game either. IQ and understanding is just as important!! Example: D. Dickson from Thimas Nelson. Kid is easily the best athlete in the state of Ky(b4 he left) and had like 4/6 pts against Cordia's JV! I'm not hating on Goodin at all, JMO!!

Beverly is way quicker than Goodin!! That's not even a debate!!

10-4... We agree to disagree. If Braxton is so much better than Quentin,, then why is Quentin getting the better offers across the board. Why is Quentin a borderline 5* and Braxton a mid 3*? Cam isn't ranked a lot better than Braxton,, around 110. If I had blue tinted glasses,, being I'm from Knott,, I'd be pushing Cams jock strap. Cam would not be getting significant mins at UT this year. If you're no good on defense,, you'll not play in the sec. Like Willis at UK. Probably the best 3 pt shooter on the team. Can't guard a trailer right now thus no playing time.

I like your team spirit though,, is admirable. You may need to take the blue tinted glasses off though.

I guess we do!! I didn't say he was that much better did I?? I just said that's my list and its just my opinion. I wish you to answer the question I ask you! What tells you Goodin would perform that much better?? Not trying to argue just asking!!! Have you actually ever watched him play?

I don't see blue my man, I see RED/BLACK!! Lol, that doesn't have anything to do w/ my choice of ranking any kid though! Lol, my rankings have about as much weight as yours do.

My rankings are what the recruiting guys think,, what the coaches recruiting these kids say. And what I have seen in person. Fact is,, Quentin will be playing more than likely for either UK or Louisville. And Braxton will be playing for a Marshall or WKU type team. You still didn't answer me on why Quentin is a high 4* with way better offers across the board,, and Braxton is a mid 3* with so so offers?

My answer: his size, athletic ability and most of all his potential. That's why I would say he has those offers and why he has a 4* ranking. With that being said I would still chose Beverly as MY #1. If I was doing class of 2015 I would take Justice and in the 2014 class I would chose Johnson. I've watched all 3 against some of the best the Nation has to offer and I never left disappointed. I can easily see why I person would chose Goodin though. He has a great upside! I'm not debating whether or not Goodin can play, I'm just saying at this point in their lives I would chose Beverly. It is what it is!!

I have watch Goodin play 3 games....I have watch Beverly seem like forever....Right now I would pick Beverly....now 2016 I will haveto wait before I can answer...

Fair enough,, I'd still take Goodin over either. I think he'll be the only starter out of the 3 early on. Maybe in Cams and Braxtons Jr year they will start. If y'all talking right now,, neither of the 3 would see any mins,, period.

Robert Dalton
Brandon Richardson
Austin Chaffin
Grant Kiser

I like all 4 of them. The Dalton kid can be really nice if his outside shot gets more consistent!! He gets to the rim w/ easy and has great leaping ability!

I am almost positive that kentucky will not offer goodin. He is a very good player but he can't play at uk

I have no idea if Goodin could play at UK. However, I do remember the same thing being said a few years ago about Anthony Hickey of Christian County.

^ I agree!! I'm not saying Goodin can't play at UK and I'm not saying tey won't offer him. I am saying he has as TONS of getting better to do of he is gonna play at that level just like the rest of those kids in that class.

After this year with the twins,, and last year with Archie,, he'll get a UK offer.

I would have to agree w/ you. I've never seen that many selfish ppl on one team b4. Last night truly made me mad. I love Cal and I'm cool w/ one and done's but those Twins and even Randle played way to selfish last night. No excuse for that!

Id take Lawrence counties 4 over anyone in the state they play hard

Some good choices

Agreed. Has anyone seen Eaves or McEwen? I have not seen those two play. Also, I haven't seen Wells for a couple of years. Overall, this is a VERY strong class. There are 5 of these that had D1 offers before their sophomore seasons even started! I really think that the other 7 with which I'm familiar have things going for them that give them a realistic shot at playing D1 as well (mid-major/lower level D1 in many cases). Again, I can't comment on Eaves, McEwen & Wells.

The first 8 you mentioned are listed in that service's top 15 and I can agree with those. I've seen Hill play quite a bit. Who are the other two kids you mentioned? Haven't heard of them.
02-05-2014, 07:25 PM
Connor Hoskins 6"2 guard from Buckhorn averaging about 17 points and 8 or 9 rebounds via Twitter and Chad marsee sorry for miss spelling but he is about 6"4 from Knox central seen some where he is averaging 16 and 12. T hill transferred from Corbin 2 lca
02-05-2014, 10:06 PM
I watched Knox a couple of times earlier this year but don't recall noticing him standing out. But, that was just 2 games. And, like I said, I have seen Hill play - actually a few times. On the surface, it doesn't appear that the transfer has gone as expected.

I really love Dow from Ballard, Long out of SC, and Beverly of Perry Central.
After reading some of these comments I do want to say I truly believe Beverly is one of the best pure point guards I've seen in a long, long time. Why does everything come down to college interests and offers? Just because a kid is undersized and doesn't have better offers means he isn't as good as someone taller with more offers? I'd take Beverly right now to lead my team no question and NO QUESTION he will not just play D1 but wherever he ends up he will see the floor.
