Recruiting is RECRUITING, doesn't matter if the player is in the county, city, adjoining county, same state, different state or different country... It's all on KHSAA as pathetic as it is, it's all on THEM to rule on eligibility. And KHSAA SUCKS, as it is now!!! Who you know, or know something on, is what makes KHSAA, SUCK!! If ANY player transfers for athletic reasons, according to KHSAA rules, that player is in eligible for 1 calendar year, those rules should apply to ALL transfers, or none at all! But, cheaters are gonna cheat!! PCC for 2 years, CHEATED here, and noe Cordia has followed suit!! Shame on KHSAA!!!

My point isn't directed to Knott or Clinton orANY school in particular. Just the facts... an "a" school in one sport, with the same attendance, should be an "a" sport in all!!! Like I said , touchstone Energy underwrite the tourney, I.e. they assume financial responsibility, and the windfall they re-coup!! An "a" school in football, should b an "a" school in basketball!!! Corporate profits should not be a factor, this year we see $$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!

You guys have a nice team at Cordia and if you get the big kid eligable you probably be best team in the region. That is a fact cordia has the two best youngsters in the county. But next year will Marquis still be at cordia. Does he has a brother on the team that is a SR. I see another player with the same last name and I heard they are brothers. If so will he still be at cordia.

I have heard the same talk that he wants to be at KCC next year. I guess rhodes getting players to transfe in and giving them more playing time is not going over to good with combs.

Without the sponsorships and the $$$$ there wouldn't be an All A tournament. Tournaments as big as the All A require a lot money to put on.

I understand your point and I mostly agree, but I don't think any corporation makes a profit off this tournament, go to the web site and look at all the Scholarships that are awarded. And let's face the facts, if Riverside won the 14th and Red Bird won the 13th (no offense to either school) and they played each other in the state tournament, there wouldn't be enough fans there to pay the light bill!!! So Yes it is about money but that money goes to Scholarships!

Grade schoolers count if they have already played a high school game. Jaylen Williams wasn't allowed to play for Knott last year because he had played for cordia!

I will say if Rod would have never come Combs would be at Breathitt. Most people dont understand if Cordia would have never landed Rhodes this would have been the first year Cordia basketball wouldn't have had a team. Austin Combs is in the 8th grade and would not have to beg to go anywhere! In simple terms, Austin Combs will go to KCC when William Madden becomes a French model.
