Larue County @ Bell 11/9/12
#31
Bell won't have any trouble converting. You can't even compare Corbin to Bell and how they played Larue. Corbin is the worst it's ever been. If Corbin even gained on Larue, Bell will have a field day and run away with it.

Bell 40
Larue 13

What is LaRue's record? Not sure they have played anyone that plays Bell style of football. The Central score gets everyone's attention but Bell will roll

6-5

Losses:
@ Shelby County 0-28
vs. Green County 21-27
@ Nelson County 15-31
@ Warren East 7-38
@ Central 8-16

Wins:
vs. Adair County 47-7
vs. Spencer County 14-12
@ Henry County 42-15
@ Etown 33-6
vs. Washington County 49-7
vs. Corbin 36-16

Pretty tough schedule with really no "bad" loss to speak of. No "good" wins either.

They are legitimately in a group with Garrard County, Mason County, and Fleming County. For that #10-13 spot in 3A. Good team, tough team, but if Bell plays focused ball they should take it with ease.

So, Larue has held 7 of their 11 oppenents to under 16 pts or less all year (or havent allowed more than 2 TD's in those games, however you want to look at it).

The two teams that scored more on them than anybody were:

Warren East (gave up 38 points), who is 11-0 and if they win this Friday, you'll likely see them playing in the 4A finals.

Nelson County (scored 31 on Larue) who is the states leading passing team (all classes). Nelson County is 6-5. I fully expect them to win Friday, and they could very well wind up playing Warren East in the state semis.

Everybody knows about the Central game where LaRue almost pulled it off.

Their two "quality" wins if there are any, have come against Spencer County, who was 7-3 going into the playoffs and lost to Nelson County, and Corbin (I know they were 5-5, but the fact of the matter is, they lost 4 games by a TD or less. If 4 plays go the other way, Corbin is 9-1 and everybody is singing their praises). Larue beat Corbin 36-16, while Bell beat them @ Corbin 34-0. Margin of victory vs Corbin bt the two? Advantage, Corbin. Most points scored? Advantage, Larue.

This one's a hard to put your finger on. I guess that's why they play the games, though?

I agree that Larue is definitely in that company of Garrard/Mason County, etc.
