You heard wrong. He still lives at Rt 580 Oil springs. Talk to his dad every day, the kid's not coming to P-ville.
Mayes may have moved but JC don't release players as soon as P-ville does.

If he moves and JC doesn't release him that would be crazy. But looking back at recent history the two schools will do crazy things.

And Paintsville has been just as bad before anyone thinks I am hating on central.

Hate to say I told ya so (not you in particular), but Burchett already quit the team. Like I said before, if it was up to me he wouldnt have ever stepped foot out on that field in a Tiger uni.

Any news on how the team is looking this year?

I seen in the paper they passed against Allen Central how did they do?

I hope this is not the case, but I was told something along the same lines. Without more and an injury or two they might have to forfeit the season. It's sad that a program with as much tradition and success in the past cannot get more kids out!

Didn't we all hear the same thing last year.

We did, but they only had about 20 kids on a good day. When I played my 4 seasons at Paintsville we always had 40+ players and had over 50 my sophomore and junior seasons (2000, 2001).

Belcher is staying at JC, IMO if he wants to compete for CHAMPIONSHIPS he will stay because why go back to a team that went 3-8 and has guys quit over pointless reasons.

Everyone knows Belcher is staying. The reason he is staying is because he is a FOOTBALL player and JC is his best choice for that right now. If he wanted "CHAMPIONSHIPS", he would have went to Belfry where they have some and have played on "The Carpet". And how do you know that the reasons the "guys quit" were "pointless"?
If you are gonna hop on here and try and put down a young, rebuilding program. At least try and show that you have some knowledge of what is REALLY going on. Until then...Confusedhh:.

I wonder if Johnson Central had another down period if they would let us talk about them like crap?

We MAY find out next season. And I'm not putting them down. I support them as much as I support the Tigers!

If you remember two year ago at the first of the season people were talking about how bad JC was because they started 0-4. By the end of the year they were one of the top teams in their class.

#49
Talked to one of the boys today too. He said they had 26 out as of today. So it may get better.
#50
They now have 28 out and from what the players say they are alot better than last year.
#51
Paintsville has somewhat of a run game, but their passing is pathetic.
