Justice is a good player, him going to UofL even as a walk-on is a great thing for a mountain kid since UK will not be taking any walk-ons under cal. Point is Justice is the best in the Mountains maybe not by as quite a margin as some say, but he is the best. Is he the best in the state? Its hard to say without seeing him go against "better" competition nightly...

Well, he can't play nightly against "better" competetion, being in the 15th region. You have to remember this is high school basketball, they can't drive to the northen part of the state 2-3 times a week to play basketball. The kid has to compete againt what is in the 15th region. He proved himself last year in the state tournament againt elliot county, having 25 of 69 points, 4 assists, and one steal. The kid is an amazing ball player, but he cant do it all himself. He doesn't get any rest time on the bench, and still comes up wtih great numbers.
And as for the CC game the other night, anyone who watched knows that elisha was double-teamed almost the entire game, and kept on blowing by the defense to get the lay-up or get the ball to the open man. I know you all strongly disagree, but I dont think hickey showed me anything all that impressive. Yes, he shot the 3 ball on key, and yes he is incredibly fast, but his ball control is kind of wild, and he didnt impress me with his leaping ability. It is also obvious that EJ is physically stronger.
I have to say, CC did play great as a team, but I dont think hickey was everything that people made him out to be. Given valley's unusual low FG %, and the fact that 2 starters were not 100%, I think that Valley could outplay this team on most any night. Just IMO, no pun intended toward hickey or CC. I do also think that valley's weak schedule has made them somewhat 'lazy' if you will, not watching the court and taking precautions that you have to with higher caliber schools
