They were never both in 1A, I assume you meant 2A.

Raceland has very little chance of winning or even kepping the score close but I would enjoy it if they do win. There are really only a couple of teams that can beat Lex Christian and Raceland is not one of those but Raceland did almost pull it off before and that is why they play the games, lots of luck from out west.

NewCath was 1a until Kentucky switch to 6 classes. They have eliminated Raceland in the 1a playoffs many times including once when I was at Raceland, I believe Raceland beat NewCath for their first ever playoff win on the road.

NewCath and Beechwood were in the same district for many years. One of those schools always won the district title.

Back to the LCA/ Raceland game. I would love to see Raceland come out and have a big game. Who knows if will happen we will find out. I believe that this game will be much closer than the last time they played.

BTW, is LCA's field in the same location of the high school? If not where do they play?
