The Lexington public schools have never won the state tournament either which brings us back to the point that there needs to be a separation between the public and private schools in the state finals. Seems like it would be easy to do....just have separate brackets. Could even maybe consider having a championship for the private, a championship for the public, and then maybe even have the two champions play each other. Just a thought....
