The only way that it could help with getting scholarships is if there are any recuiting coaches at the tournaments we choose to attend. The cost of being on the travel team would depend on the cost of the tournaments and the cost of the traveling on the weekend to and from the tournaments. As of right now Sherry Robinson plans on being the travel team coach. KHSAA rules prevents high school coaches from being travel team coaches. I thought high school coaches were not allowed to coach any of their high school players on club teams, travel teams or not travel treams; but they could coach other club travel/not travel as long as none of the players were on their high school team (varsity, i think). Correct me if I'm wrong.
