They have been able to turn it around by beating up on the weakest class 1a and 2a teams. Magoffin Co. has yet to play a class 3a team. The combined record of their opponets is 8-28. Their only loss, to Paintsville, has a record of 2-4. The only win that Paintsville has other than Magoffin Co. is over South Floyd (1-5). You can call it a turn around when you start beating teams that are at least in the same class as you.

I agree that Magoffins schedule this far in the season hasn't been the toughest ever. But they played a close game against a Paintsville team, and probably would have won if their would have been some minor adjustments to their play calling. And they made a heck of a comeback against a fairly good Knott County team. They have all 3 of their district games coming up, and I am looking for them to roll through Powell, and then give Estill a run for their money. Don't be surprised if they DO get to host the first round of playoffs!
