Its just nuts, you let a drug like this that is highly addictive if not taken correctly, and even sometimes even taking correctly its very addictive, out to the public and let doctors give it out like candy and yet a plant is illegal. Something is wrong there.
You are right something is wrong when a medication intended for serious cancer patients is given out by doctors for back pain, headaches or other less sever problems.
