You really think Porter is NBA material because I don't? Fans like you that disliked Tubby and wanted him ousted seem to forget the players Tubby guided to the NBA, but it's ok because I understand you want to forget about tournament & regular season titles, future NBA players and past success UK had under Tubby to make your point. I'm not saying Tubby was without fault and this thread is not about Tubby.

Back to the originial point of this thread: I guess Pelphrey's success at Arkansas WITHOUT "his players" is a fluke? Since you want to throw in Tubby's name, I guess TUBBY'S success at Minnesota is also a fluke? Fans in Arkansas and Minnesota aren't sitting around like UK fans outwardly saying "give him 2 more years to get his players" - why?

We should revisit this argument when Minnesota & Arkansas are a part of the field of 64 and UK fans are scratching their heads and saying "2 more years."
