I think the problem with this game was not even once did either team go from offense to defense and back to offense without the whistle being blown in the first quarter. My opinion is the refs were worried about the game getting out of control so they was going to call every little touch. They did that the first half. Calls like that doesnt keep the game from getting out of control, it frustrates the players and in my opinion makes them want to lash out more. Games should be called consistent, not called according to the two teams playing Now, if a fight or something breaks out or it looks like one is going to, then call it a little tighter until the emotions get under control. It is the same things as calling any call in a game, dont anticipate the foul, wait until you see it before you call it.

But it was a hard fought game by both teams. Hats off to Pikeville for having a half time lead. Their boys played hard even when they was undersized in almost every position.
