Should dunking be allowed during warmups after refs come out of their dressing room?
#39
I don't really see the point myself. I think if you are not going to allow it while the refs are out, why allow it at all?

Anyone know the REAL reason it was put into place to begin with?

In High School we were playing Boyd County and we were dunking in warm ups. There were about 2-3 people that dunked/tried to dunk in front of me and when I went up and dunked it the rim broke and came off in my hand! No one got hurt or anything, but it did cause a HUGE delay in starting the game and made a lot of people mad with the Boyd County School System.

This is the only reason I can see them having a no dunk rule in warm ups, but it would have to be for the entire warm up period, not just while the refs were out.
