Gas Prices Causing 4 Day Work Weeks

If Bush is big into the oil industry in Texas, wouldn't invading Iraq for oil cut into those profits?

If Bush invaded Iraq for oil, that would mean that oil companies from the U.S. would have moved over to Iraq to have their base for getting oil, and which companies have done that?

If we went into Iraq to steal oil, then we would be coming under the prosecution of the world court and we would face sanctions; has that happened?

You said that invading another middle eastern country wouldn't solve our oil crisis, but then you said that it was the reason that we invaded Iraq; I'm lost. Why would invading Iraq for oil solve our crisis but invading another country wouldn't? Does Iraq have better oil or something?

American companies are just now beginning to set up shop in Iraq becasue the situation hasn't been safe for them to do business until recently.
Iraq's oil infrastructure is far outdated and incredibly dilapidated.

Texas Oil Tycoons have a lot to gain from these oil interests. Do you have any idea how much of our oil actually comes from the middle east? Not much. Most of the foreign oil that is imported to the US now, comes from Canada.

The world court is a not subscribed to by most of the major world powers. Therefore it matters not what they think about the US.

Invading Iraq for oil will not help in decresing the US dependence on foreign oil or any other oil for that matter. Therefore invading yet another country for oil is not going to do anything but enrich the pockets of big oil. Oil companies will not sell oil for anything less than the maximum, and to think that increasing supply will bring down cost you are dead wrong. If they can't make top dollar they won't produce. There are oil sites all over Texas that were shut down because of low demand in the 1980s and 90s. Now they are opening those back up and selling that oil for top dollar.

It's a cycle that must be broken.
