I think that people believe the reason Paintsville hasn't won the region is because they choke. That may have been the case two years ago but not anymore. The boys at SV are growing up and now I don't think it matters if Paintsville chokes or not, they just aren't as good as SV imo.

Paintsville SHOULD have had the best team the last two years, and the anticipation really built up for the team they might be when they almost beat Valley in 2005. Most on here would agree that Paintsville has had a lot of potential and still does. The only difference between them and Valley is that SV has found ways to win, while Paintsville has only found ways to lose. IMO Paintsville had their two years for their chance at the regional title (2006, 2007), and now Valley has caught back up with them in experienced talent. Even if Paintsville has pulled themselves together this year, they might find that its too late.

I'm not going to make a prediction.. because honestly.. this game could go either way by a few points.. it will definitely be close...

NO matter who wins - excuses will be mad like always... Paintsville didnt bring their game and played as individuals, or Valley would have won with Newsome...

Either way, it will be a great game
