Prestonsburg could’ve brought their elementary school team and showed more fight than this team did tonight. And I think Prestonsburg had such an “I don’t care” attitude that it caused Martin County to play like they were playing against old school Piarist.

It was very evident from the start that they knew they had no shot and showed that body language the whole game.

Thing is: Martin county isn’t THAT good. If even an ounce of effort was given by Prestonsburg tonight, they compete. Not saying they win but it was not a 21 point game. This game was single digits then Prestonsburg literally just started watching Watts miss dunks from half court and didn’t even attempt to rebound or try to stop him. Like idk what happened tonight but the 0-5 Prestonsburg team that we saw before Christmas came back tonight and in a bad way.

I agree 110%. Don’t get me wrong the way it looks right now Martin is by far the best in the region but I don’t think there is a single team in the region that a team should go into the game thinking that they don’t have a chance. It’s not like they’re playing the 96 bulls. If pburg competed tonight they would’ve made it a much better game. But congrats to Martin county because they’re playing some good basketball.
