Pope may very well win one when all is said and done. Might not be this season but I think he has a good chance of getting one here. He has all the tools. The only thing that worried me was his ability to get the big time blue chip recruits to come play for him. I'm no longer worried about that. I think guys will want to play for him and play in this fun offense.

Btw, did anyone see where the Hall of Famer got a big win over #14 Michigan the other night. The guy can still win ball games. Probably will have over a 1,000 wins by the time he's through. He deserves a standing ovation when he comes back to town on Feb 1.

Agree with what you said about Pope getting blue chip recruits,  don't think he'll have a problem with that. 

I watched the last of the Arkansas vs Michigan game.  Like UKs comeback vs Gonzaga,  Arkansas came back from a pretty good deceit to beat Michigan.  The SEC teams have got some serious fight in them this year.

I can relate, my friend. I remember when I first learned I could put a clown's wig and nose on some Corbin coaches, administrators, and school board members' faces.  It was like Christmas morning all over again for Old School.

Did anyone happen to see the story about the chemistry professor who taught at Colgate and is from Ashland? His name is Ephraim Woods, and he became a liaison for the basketball program, and always wanted to see Colgate play Kentucky at Rupp.

Finally after years of trying, they were able to get it scheduled, but sadly, Ephriam passed away early last year from brain cancer. He didn't get to see the game, but his family was in attendance last night, sitting behind the Colgate bench. I thought that was a really neat, and touching story, that sometimes it goes beyond the game.
