I’m betting against you in 4A. I’ll take Boyle County. The rest I agree with until further notice. Speed is the difference.

Boyle with too much speed for the Hounds?

Yea but it’s ok. We got something to neutralize it. A 4-4 with no blitzing!! Lol.

 Thats the stuff I see honestly, no blitzing, no playing players on both sides of the ball. No Changing defenses. What I do like is allowing Elam to throw and control the game with his arm. Hats off to Bart Elam because he has definitely put the play calling to another level. That is one thing I thought LCA should have done more of is letting the QB throw more short passes instead of bombs every throw.. Then Hensley is a good enough target to get the ball in the open field, he would be dangerous off a short pass. Boyles speed is better than last year. Boyle is a better overall team than last year. Their defense is better than the score indicates, and I'll prove that by saying this. LCA plays some worthy opponents over the next few weeks. Pay attention to how many points LCA scores on Pikeville, CAL, and Lexington Catholic. AS for too much speed for the Hounds, I said it the first 7x7 that there was a separation from 1st to 2cd in 4A. Because of what I saw, Speed. Boyle is fast. I don't know how to describe it any better. They are for real Mrs. Jackson..

I agree. I said to, speed in the secondary will be our achilles heel. Last year boyle had the best player on the field on both O and D. But I still think we had more talent, as far as number wise. This year, NOPE. We’ve got some damn good players. Players that can win. But it takes a lot more than just talent as we have seen these past 4 years. We squandered it away playing…. Well you know what they did. Daddy, buddy, political, etc ball. but I said it a couple weeks ago, Elam is a better coach than what we see. The game plan/philosophy holds his abilities coaching wise back. We could have aired it out the last couple years to give our very talented backs some room. But it goes against the “bust them in the mouth, 46 power, 1980s football”. Watching the LCA vs BC game tonight just brought back memories from 5/6 years ago and how exciting, how unpredictable our offense was. It was just the vibe. It felt like our guys walked out and knew we are gonna smack you, air it on you, and have you guessing where you’re even at! And making them like it. Now it reminds me of UK basketball. You know where gonna sprint down the court, then slow it down, and wait until the last 10 seconds to run a play which is always the same few in different sets. One thing I notice about haddix, and other great ones. They adjust their system to their personnel, not the personnel to the system. Seems to be working out for them.
