31 tried to slow himself down and stuck his right arm out to protect himself. If you watch the video close enough, you’d see it. No way he was gonna be able to slow down the momentum the boy from Martin County had after he was shoved in the back. You obviously do not know the kid cause he would never intentionally do that to anyone.

I didn't see it that way on the film. Referees don't have the benefit of instant replay and when I first saw the video, I was surprised that there wasn't at least an intentional foul called, especially given that it was to the head and neck area. It doesn't help that the foul came at a point in the game that it was at either.

I don't know a soul on either team or in either town for that matter. I'd be more inclined to see things from the "accidental" perspective if the kids from Paintsville had checked on him or helped him up instead of looking like they're glaring at him. 

I'm not saying all Paintsville fans can be painted with a broad brush, and I don't think that it helps that their gym is tiny and that there's a lot of seating right on top of the benches, but I will say that if I were a coach, I probably wouldn't schedule any trips to go play them at their place if it were at my discretion.

We can agree to disagree about 31’s involvement. I do believe that 5 should have been called for a flagrant foul. That was his 5th foul anyways, so maybe that’s why they didn’t call a flagrant, idk.

Agree that something more than a common foul should have been called. I haven't watched the whole game, but it's sounding like a situation where the officials might have lost some control. I definitely agree with the earlier posts about this not getting the attention it's gotten but for the other fan incidents and the point in the game at which it occurred. If I'm an administrator at Paintsville, I would be worried about the fan incidents becoming a real liability if something really goes wrong in the future because it seems like they're piling up.

The refs let the kids play, just like they have all year long. Martin County got away with plenty themselves, don’t let that fan base fool ya. Martin County did get more called against them, can’t deny that. But let’s not act like we haven’t seen this all year long and especially in this tournament. The refs let the kids play, they let coaches curse each other, let a coach curse an opposing player, the list goes on and on lol.
