Martin County is the better team. Only a close game due to officiating. Called a technical on MC coach and at one point, 7 fouls to 1 in favor of Paintsville. When you’re not as talented as the other team, then you play physical in order to make it a game (with a little help).

I agree with this post also. Martin County is the better team. The officials allowed Paintsville to get away with a few physical plays that they probably shouldn’t have.

But the play that the MC fans are saying the Paintsville kid lowered his shoulder and tried to run through the Martin County kid just didn’t happen that way. The Mac kid got fouled as the second defender was coming in. The MC kid got knocked off balance and made his head go down at the same time the Paintsville kid was coming while holding his arm out trying to protect himself. He wasn’t trying to be malicious at all. It was a accidental contact after the fact of a foul. 

Yes they were missed calls but the refs weren’t out there trying to make calls to benefit Paintsville and give them the game. They just weren’t. 

Also fans from both fan bases acted a fool and need to do better in the future. The foul language coming from assistant coaches and the fans trying to rush the floor should never happen. All involved in this behavior should be escorted out and given a lifetime ban. Just my opinion
