I’m not sure about any school’s hiring practices BUT I will agree Raceland’s facilities are outstanding! Especially for a small school! I will give Raceland’s administration, Board and community credit for providing great facilities for their kids. The football, basketball, baseball facilities are great not good.

As far as the basketball program, I believe up til the past few years Raceland basketball program has been more successful than Russell’s program so hopefully their fans will have patiences. will get better.

I’m not sure if it’s so much of an issue of patience as it is having a culture of just not taking basketball seriously at Raceland.  The program has never had high expectations and most of the time having a winning season and making the region tourney is considered a good year.  That’s just how it’s always been and I don’t see that mentality changing.
