CORBIN...Wow! What do I say?

I expected a winning regular season with maybe 1 loss( possibly Pikeville or Franklin). The team met and even exceeded my expectations in the regular season and were a lot of fun to watch. In the postseason, I expected two easy wins and two wins in competitive wins. That's what happened. The JC and FC games were two of the best I've seen in a long time.  I expected that we would meet Boyle in the finals with a team that was very capable of winning the title but would not because Greer  be unable to win the battle of wits with Haddix. That's what happened. So, overall, the season played out almost exactly the way I thought it would.  Forty years and counting...

I was totally impressed with Corbin in 2022. As I broke down the film in the final game, I took my time and as you watch each play, I can see why this team had the season it did. These kids are well deserving. I'm going to miss our seniors. So proud of them!
