All that being said, I wish Greenup kids success this Friday and hope to see them make a run. Ive always liked the Sammons family and they have put some dandy ball players on the field. They both would/would have looked great in Orange and Black hahahahahaha

I’ve always asked that question Scotty. I’ve never seen what Raceland gains from playing Greenup every year besides a W. Raceland has seemed to strengthen their schedule over the past half dz years or so yet that game remains on the schedule. Do you think it’s primarily just to help RPI?

Has nothing to do with RPI. It’s two reasons . One is ….Raceland usually struggles beating Russell and Greenup in other sports. So it feels good to beat them in football. Second is the gate. Greenup can be 0-6,0-5, 0-8 ….they always bring a crowd. If Greenup could get some consistency down there they would have one of the biggest crowds in the area.
