But still a quality opponent to prepare for the bigger picture. I like using teams for measuring sticks but at the end of the day, the coaches who make adjustments and pay attention to details will be standing in the end. Good opponents like Highlands will do just that, give you plenty of feedback.
I have a question Bull what team on Corbin’s schedule (well the rest of their schedule) will challenge Corbin the most? Looks like it will be Franklin County is their next test.

Franklin County (away game), Simon Kenton (away game) and Pulaski County are the 3 games to pay that will make or break the season for Corbin. Knox County will play hard but I don’t see it this year. But Franklin County game is a huge game for down the road because it can put you playing at home if you win or playing on the road if you lose deeper in the playoffs. Simon Kenton brings back a team worthy and played with Corbin for a half last year at Corbin. I know Pulaski was a blowout by the score but watching it in person, it was a ballgame and they exposed us in the passing attack. So Franklin and Simon Kenton is the big two. Corbin wins those games and depending on how the offense looks then 4A might have a 3 or 4 team monster games again in that 3rd round. RPI will be huge this year in 4A, all the teams will want that home field advantage….
