Prestonsburg should be the second or third best team in the district next season. I believe Coach Brewer is starting to generate more enthusiasm within the program and this has carried over into the community. There is a lot of talent in the feeder programs and I believe there were fifty or more kids that came out on the B and C teams. I know the middle school didn't have a lot of kids out this year, but I look for that to change next year. The middle school program is in good hands with Coach Slone and I have heard good things about the B and C team coaches. I think this program has weathered the storm, and I think P-Burg will be on the rise in the near future.
