That is an RPI issue because there is no doubt that JC is a top 3 or 4 team in 4A. The Maryland team that beat Johnson Central is rapidly climbing in the CalPreps rankings, which will not help the Golden Eagles' RPI at all. The Illinois team that JC beat will likely climb in the rankings as well. JC is likely to beat Letcher Central by a comfortable margin, but otherwise, they will not have much opportunity to improve their RPI, with Belfry being down this season. (No offense to Letcher Central, which is having a great season, but if JC avoids turnovers, I don't believe that LC can stop the JC offense.)

I'm just saying putting the top 8 RPI out there and calling it a day won't work because the RPI is bad.
