I don't see any stats refuting the chart that I posted. Was the article from a British tabloid all you could find? What about the state of the Florida economy vs. NY, CA, NJ, and IL? Does it matter that those states are destroying businesses and lives through their forced closures and other restrictions?

Wouldn’t matter if I found 50 articles and wrote a dissertation. Desantis is a Trumpy so he has your undying loyalty. 

Are you literally trying to say people are in more danger because they aren’t going in bars, restaurants,etc. and are required to wear masks?  Seriously ? 

Businesses are being destroyed, but if the world was wide open what would be happening.  Not everywhere is as magical as Florida.  

It’s where a real stimulus bill would come in.  The longer this lasts the worse it will be.

Over 99 percent of COVID-19 patients recover. Shutting down businesses is overkill. The country cannot afford to destroy its economy and write endless checks to people who are displaced from the economy by lockdowns. There is no evidence that shutting down businesses is slowing the spread of the virus. If there is not clear and convincing evidence that masks and lockdowns are decreasing the spread of the disease, then what sense does it make to continue to forcibly close businesses?

Besides the COVID-19 recovery rates, looking at the death and growth rates for the U.S. also does not show a significant difference between 2019 and 2020. That suggests that many of the pandemic victims would have died in 2020 had they not been infected - or the deaths caused by other causes declined because people adopted healthier habits because of the pandemic.

I always felt conservatives were largely heartless, and you didn’t disappoint with a despicable post
that is fast and loose with facts. 

I know it’s hard to understand.  (Slowly talking) When people are around other people they can spread the virus. 

The evidence you’re looking for is 
common sense.

I have found the evidence and you choose to ignore it. People are fleeing states like California, New York, and New Jersey in huge numbers. People cannot thrive in this country without jobs. Democrats are aggressively killing jobs. Deaths by suicide and drug overdoses have soared. Socialism spreads misery.

This is the deadliest year ever for Americans.  We have been running at about 60% and will lose 400k more lives than we ever have. Your figures ,like you, didn’t prove your point. 

People are fleeing the population centers during a pandemic.  Be careful what you wish for though Hoot.  All this cheering for the blue state exodus will flip some of these Republican safe havens like Texas, Florida, and Georgia. 

These people would have overdosed or committed suicide anyway.

I agree. It is misery when that socialism is sucked up by the rich in tax breaks and subsidies. In turn it drives up inflation making it damn near impossible for citizens to live.
