If he had only been in on those January and February intel meetings, he could have unloaded his stock portfolio and made the right decisions on nursing homes. 

When a nation isn’t prepared and downplays the severity of a pandemic. its population centers suffer.  That’s common sense. 

You may want to check back in on that data.  Red states aren’t doing so hot these days.  I do love you are using Desantis as the lynchpin of your argument considering he has been doctoring the data the whole time. 

But I understand red state frustration you’re parroting because who’s going to pay their bills if blue states are shut down to protect human life.

Fact, the nation was indeed unprepared for this or any pandemic and why? As you continually keep ignoring, such supplies were used up during the H1N1 flu epidemic in the Obama era. And they were never replaced, but not for lack of clear guidelines. You get no better than a 50/50 split for blame on this on the best day.

Congressional cuts had kept officials from filling the disaster response supplies. Even with that the shelves were not bare. Another Trump lie that you guys swallowed. 

But let’s say they were bare, Trump had 3 years he could have given a sweet contract to some buddies and did something good for our nation. But no that didn’t happen. 

That map didn’t say what you wanted it to say. Tennessee, Miss, and Indiana are the same deep red California is in with a fraction of the population.  
It’s the same false logic when Republicans throw up the electoral map and say look at all this land that went red.  Land don’t vote nor does it catch COVID. 

Looks like we’re all screwed to me.  How much better off would we have been if there had been leadership in our federal govt?  A stimulus that supported our economy for a period while we eradicated this virus. Made it possible for nonessential workers to stay home and stay safe without pushing them further into poverty. 

This stimulus was a second chance to save 200k to 300k Americans over the next few months, but our politicians don’t care for Americans. Our government is as heartless as any authoritarian nation on this planet, and that’s hard to swallow.
