And yet not a single credited TFL on Paintsville stat page from that game. I’m not buying that Pikevilles O line got beat that badly. Reading back through the game thread, while there was some pressure, it appears that young Mac (3rd career start) faced a zone pass D after two games of man coverage. 2 INTs in the game but Pikeville forced 3 turnovers from the Tigers.

Im just labeling it as a bad beat on the LOS because it just seemed they could not establish a running game in that first game. My memory gets worse with age but it just seemed like they would pick up 1-3 yards on every carry but just couldn’t break a big run. They were without their normal Center though still back then, and that was obviously a factor. Regardless they got the W and thats all that matters. I expect them to have more success this go around and Raines to break a few big runs.
