I agree and disagree. It doesn’t matter who ya played because you’re playing each other now. But at the same time I honestly believe it does. Playing a tough schedule is almost like practicing. If you practice against your middle school team all year you might get better, but not as good as a team that doesn’t have players going both ways and the #1s on offense can go against the #1s on D. Same thing with past games. You gain that experience to help you progress your skills. It doesn’t mean bell hasn’t gotten better since the start of the year, but I’d bet the farm belfry has gotten better from where they started compared to bell. So in a way it does matter for this week. And it goes further than that, close game situations for example. A kid that has been in them over the season will have that experience to help him keep his exposure during that type of game. The list goes on and on. So I believe that advantage along with belfrys defense and strong running game is what will push them over the top for this one. Both teams have had a good year. But IMO belfry will end theirs on a win.

I get it 👍🏼👍🏼 Understand completely. All I’m saying is when we continue to discuss all the schedule stuff....it takes on the appearance of diminishing what the kids from either team has accomplished. At least that’s my opinion. And that’s all it is...just an opinion 👍🏼 Let’s just strap them on. I know the Belfry kids are looking forward to the challenge. All business. No fluff.
