Harlan County @ Tates Creek 08/31/18
#37
Frank Martin Wrote:Tates Creek won district, beat all the other city teams besides FD and finished 9 and 3 last year. They will probably dress in the low to mid 40's this week.

Against FD last week they turned the ball over to FD 5 times inside their own 25-30 yard line (2 times inside the 10 yd line) in the 1st half.....2 fumbles and 3 botched snaps on punts. FD was a far better team but it's really hard to be even close to competitive when that happens. If they clean all that up and get healthy they should be ok for the rest of the season.

That first sentence is why I'm saying this is a big game. They were considered one of the best teams in CKY entering the season, and they don't look close now.

The QB is pretty good and they have some nice athletes on both sides of the ball. If nothing else, they should be able to give up less than 98 points in two games, regardless of the opponent.

If they lose to Harlan County, and no disrespect to the Black Bears, then people are really going to be down on Tates Creek. That always has an affect on the players, coaches, and program.
